# Terms of Service

Last updated: August 20, 2026.

These terms govern every purchase on BuilderBooks. They are short because the product is simple: you pay once, you get files.

## 1. Who you are contracting with

BuilderBooks is operated by PA Ventures GmbH, Görresstraße 10, 80798 München, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht München under HRB 264306, VAT ID DE341240749, represented by Philipp Angermann. Contact: contact@pa.ventures.

## 2. What you are buying

Each skill is a set of files: a SKILL.md plus its supporting files, delivered as a ZIP download. It is a one-off purchase of digital content. There is no subscription, no account fee, and no recurring charge.

A bundle is several skills sold together at a lower total price. Buying a bundle gives you the individual skills it contains.

## 3. How a contract is formed

Listings on this site are an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. The contract is formed when you complete payment in checkout and we confirm the order by email. Free skills follow the same rules, minus the payment.

## 4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable. The price you see in the cart is the price you pay; the per-skill price falls as you add more skills.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may withdraw access to the affected files.

## 5. Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate. After payment you receive an email with a link to your library, from which you can download every skill you own.

Download links are time-limited for security reasons. If a link has expired, request a new one from your library or write to contact@pa.ventures, you keep access to what you bought.

## 6. Licence and permitted use

You get a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the files you bought, personally and inside your own company, on as many of your own machines and agents as you like.

You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise redistribute the files or substantial parts of them, and you may not offer them as part of a competing product or a public repository. Adapting a skill for your own internal use is fine.

## 7. Right of withdrawal and its waiver

As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content.

By starting the download you expressly consent to us beginning performance immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 Para. 5 BGB). Until you download, the right of withdrawal remains, write to contact@pa.ventures and we will refund you.

If something is broken or not as described, contact us. We would rather fix it or refund you than argue about it.

## 8. Third-party books and trademarks

A skill is our own summary and operational adaptation of the ideas in a book. It is not the book, it is not authorised or endorsed by the author or publisher, and it does not reproduce the book's text. Book titles and author names are used for identification only. Buying a skill is not a substitute for buying the book, and we encourage you to buy it.

## 9. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, or retire skills at any time. If a skill you own is updated, you get the update at no extra cost. If it is retired, your existing download stays available to you.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website.

## 10. Liability

The skills are guidance, not advice. Decisions you make with them are yours. We give no warranty that following a skill will produce any particular business outcome.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Any further liability is excluded.

## 11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory protections of their country of residence remain unaffected. If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or hold a special public-law fund, the place of jurisdiction is Munich, Germany.

## 12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
